Whenever i got any of those discount russian lit books from this bookshop in south ext in delhi .. i used to devour them in one sitting and then feel like going back to them over and over again ...there is something inexplicably intricate about the simplicity the "life" portrays.

Your's was like the first blog i read on sulekha
Chris points out some very valid points ..but the one rare thing ..i think your writing has is a very conversational format.. which means that you basically hold the attention all of the time ... makes for a very powerful message giving ..have you thought of evangelism as an alternate career ?;)
all the blogs i base my thoughts on were rather personal but then that's when i guess thoughts flow best ... Unless your writing is naturally confused ...the turmoil of that moment was brought out without undue hysteria and at the same moment with a sense of panic
and i donot know if this was intended ..But you left the reader hanging at just the right moment in terms of "What is going to happen next"
so any serialised based form would suit your style well..

if there was symbolism intended then it GOT me truly !
the dream -- as the can and then the symbolic squashing of the can to give in to the realities of life
..."fit in as many as you can"
and if not then a bunch of conflicting reactions --- ridicule, sympathy , disinteredness, disillusionment ..conveyed in a a very potent narrative..
